Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to trial, whether it is a bench trial or jury trial, and quite often, a lawsuit can be resolved well before incurring the monetary and time costs associated with trial, and this may be achieved through mediation. Mediation is a confidential process that allows the parties the opportunity to voice their grievances, while maintaining the ability to salvage relationships in an amenable and cordial manner. 

While most courts will require the parties attempt mediation prior to trial, parties involved in disputes should consider the benefits of taking matters into your own hands and settling the issue while you still maintain control of the outcome.

Justin G. McGee, Esq. is a certified mediator, specializing in the following matters: complex commercial disputes, contract disputes, real estate disputes, and probate disputes. Our office does not handle criminal law or family law mediations. 

We have represented--and continue to represent--clients at mediation, and currently volunteer time with the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County to provide neutral, third-party mediation services to qualifying parties. 

We offer convenient virtual mediations, eliminating the headache of scheduling travel and lodging. Half-day mediations are $650 per party (for a maximum of three parties), and full-day mediations are $1,300 per party (for a maximum of three parties).
